Application Fee
Core Dynamics Pilates Teacher Training program has a $100 dollar non-refundable application fee. This fee is to paid at the time you submit your application to enter the Pilates Teacher Training Program. The teacher training packet and application form can be found on the main Teacher Training Program web site page.
Teacher Training
The Core Dynamics Teacher Training Program offers comprehensive training in Pilates mat and all equipment. The program consists of four intensive weekend workshops, 72 hours total, offered in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The teacher trainee will also participate in 378 hours of self-directed study and practice to develop skills and knowledge for teaching group mat classes and individual Pilates lessons. Continuing Education
Core Dynamics offers workshops to Pilates practitioners concerning more complex physical issues and Pilates related topics. Michele Larsson's unique ability to identify body imbalances, postural conditions and individual needs combined with years of experience in how to apply Pilates exercises appropriately provides a stimulating learning environment for workshop participants. CEC's are available.
Distance Learning
Core Dynamics is offering multiple WEB based opportunities to enhance your Pilates knowledge. Learning exercises include, audio podcasts, video podcasts, written exercises and combinations of all three. Once activities are completed, you can count the hours toward the Core Dynamics Teacher Training requirements. CEC’s will be available in the near 2009. Please refer to individual descriptions of each distance learning activity for additional information.
Conference Call Workshops
These recorded telephone seminars are facilitated by Michele Larsson and cover topics to assist in working with your clients. Each call is approximately 60 minutes and comes with an outline the covers each topic. Core Dynamics Pilates teacher trainees can count the conference call hours toward the Core Dynamics Teacher Training requirements.
DVD Products
Core Dynamics offers Michele Larsson designed instructional videos that are recommended for teacher training and overall Pilates knowledge enhancement. Products include Pilates exercise DVD's, Eve Gentry 1991 Workshop and Eve Gentry Documentary.
Audio Podcasts
These 2008 recorded telephone seminars are lead by Michele Larsson and cover topics to assist in working with your clients, including Client Assessment, Posture Problems, Exercise Modifications and Lesson Planning. Core Dynamics Pilates teacher trainees can count the audio podcast hours toward the Core Dynamics Teacher Training requirements.
